Welcome Fall!?!

Thankful for:
*a good start to the week
*our friends are ok after a wreck
*my parent's dog is doing better
*picking up the middle bedroom (aka junk room) so now you can see the floor...some things went to Goodwill, some trash and some storage...ahh now there is a little less chaos it that room

Thankful for:
*a day off...spent the morning at Micheals, Ellis Pottery and quick in and out at K-Mart to find a crayon Halloween outfit for Preston (not sure if he will be this but none the less it will be his to "dress up" in at home)
*for Christmas, at work, we each put up a stocking, and if you want to participate we buy one another little gifts...I found mine today at Micheals in the $1 bin (Christmas pens)...hooray I can check that off my list
*found other treasures in the dollar bins...little gifts for Preston's advent Christmas tree!
*I love nutcrackers and toy soldiers at Christmas, I found a little wooden one unfinished today, at Michaels, my plan is to put it in one of Preston's advent calendar days and let him paint it and then place it on the mantel with all my other nutcrackers...maybe I will make this a tradition for our family
*found some beautiful flame less candles at Ellis pottery I can use now for fall and again at Christmas, they are pillar candles that are bronze glittery colored (sounds tacky but they are really pretty), I chose the bronze color because it matches my fall and my Christmas decor and they were on SALE!
*found a red Crayola Crayon Halloween costume in Preston size and the cutest 2 for 1 pjs for Preston at  K-Mart (personally I don't like going into this store because it is so disorganized and stuff is everywhere, but they have the cutest Disney character pjs and shirts for boys, not to mention pretty Martha Stewart Christmas decorations)
*decorated my mantel for fall
*baked a sweet potato pie to kick off the fall season (although it feels like summer)
*wish my Mom a good night's sleep before she heads off for her week long vacay with her 4 of her sister's... look out Arizona here come "THE SISTERS"!!!
*I love my husband and wish he did not have to put up with so much drama...HE HAS A HEART OF GOLD!!!
