A New Month

*Starting the work week one day into the week
*tacos for dinner
*getting Preston not to wear his shoes to bed by telling him Big Boys wear socks to bed not shoes...this worked somewhat

*Being on call and not getting called in
*New potatoes and fresh onions
*Making a Happy Birthday Banner for Preston

Thankful for:
*Getting off work really really early and having a complete me day: went to the Boardwalk, bought Preston some sleeveless shirts to play in outside (all on sale), bought a tie at Banana Republic for $7 (had been $34), and saw Sex and the City 2 by myself...Totally enjoyed the me time
*Not cooking dinner
*Preston eating fried okra and a plate full of mashed potatoes and gravy
*My sister's safe flight

Thankful for:
*waking up and finding a shoe in the bed(Preston's);even though he wore the socks to bed he had to hold the shoes (I say whatever helps him go to sleep at this point)
*A short work week
*TGIF
*Thomas running a very high temp today (in the triple digits), he went to see the nurse practitioner, diagnosis bronchitis but he needed a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia, No call about the chest x-ray so no news is good news (they said they would call if they saw something), Finally at 7pm his fever has broke
*Got my pictures delivered today
*Preston's scrape on his nose is almost healed
