Lazy Weekend

Thankful for:
*Thomas feeling a little better (not much though)
*Riding around so Preston could take a nap
*Not doing much of nothing
*Home made hash browns, from new potatoes (from my Dad's garden) for breakfast...can you say yummy

Thankful for:
*A tantrum free trip to the store, or until checkout time that is
*Preston feel asleep as we pulled into the drive way and took a 2.5 hour nap (unheard of)
*Thomas and I were looking a little pools for Preston (the one we had did not hold air at all)...the aisle was not busy (just us), I let Preston out of the buggy, we heads straight for the water shoes, he sits down on the floor, takes off his shoes and socks and tries to put on a pair of hot pink water shoes, I see him and try my best to get him to try the blue ones, finally after a small power struggle I win, because I would not put the pink ones on him, he wore the shoes during nap and did not take them off until it was bath time
*A great day with the family...do not want the weekend to end

Thankful for:
*Preston will now watch something other than Toy Story and TS2, now asks for WALLE at times
*Fajitas for supper (semi-homemade)
*Preston tried sour cream for the first time and he loved it
*I finally asked for some time off from work...now we just have to pick some place to go
*Thomas is feeling better
*Had a little rain shower...wish it would rain more

Thankful for:
*Preston is talking more and more and putting more and more words together, it is like a little light went off in his head, it sure makes knowing what he wants much easier...also makes you more careful of what is on tv and what we say
*Plan on Preston and I visiting my Mom and Dad this weekend (Thomas might be playing golf)
*Thomas is feeling more like himself (yeah...hate it when he feels bad)
*Had a little rain shower this afternoon, it cooled things off a bit
