A Really Long Thankful Post

Let me just start off by stating that I am mad at myself for waiting an entire week to update my thankful posts. It always takes me twice as long to remember the past days, now I have to remember an entire week!!! Well I will do my best here it goes...

*Thomas's gardenia bush...it smells so good
*A decent day at work...finally had all our nurses back!!!
*Day 3 of the nutrition plan going ok

Thankful for:

*This little boy who always surprises me...Preston did this all by himself: he stripped down to his birthday suit, then took the trash can from under my desk, and climbed into it, I had no idea he was doing this until I heard a sweet little voice call "MaMa", he was so proud (you can tell by the grin), thankfully I almost always have the camera by the computer ready for these moments
*Dinner with enough leftovers for the next night
*Preston had a good visit with his Grandma and Puppy (Puppy got a haircut and looks adorable)
*Hanging out in the afternoon with Thomas

*On this day 4 years ago I met Thomas at his best friend's rehearsal dinner
*Leftovers
*Working 2 hours over (getting in a little extra time)
*Co-Workers pulling together to get things done

Thankful for:
*My precious nephew's 3rd Birthday is today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CARSON!!!!WE LOVE YOU!!
*It is some friends of ours 4th wedding anniversary...Happy Anniversary, Lance and Jessica... Thomas and I met at your rehearsal dinner (Thanks for letting me crash!!)
*Glad to get home after 9pm from work and not have to go back (I was on call...that made for a looong evening), but talking to Preston on the phone was wonderful

Thankful for:
*TGIF
*Getting our family pictures ordered
*Oil changed in the Tahoe
*Packing Preston's suitcase for the weekend and him not knowing it (otherwise all the work would have been undone)
*Getting off work a little early
*Getting in the "pool" with Preston and he discovered that you can spray MaMa in the face with the water and she will squeal and laugh, which caused a contagious laugh from Preston
*Thomas cooked dinner...spaghetti (yummy in the tummy)
*a trip to the ENT relieved us of the worry that Preston had an ear infection

*Carson's 3rd birthday party...Preston had a BLAST...Thank You for the invite
*Visiting my family
*Preston and Carson playing at MeMaw and PaPa's house
*Preston trying a Pop Ice (is that the right name?) for the 1st time
*Carson cracks me up...Love you little guy
*Seeing some of my cousins and their kiddos at Carson's Party
*Glad that the ugly people that were going to protest a local fallen soldier's funeral did not but the community showed an awesome amount of support for the soldier and his family
*Learning that Preston is a little dare devil...we knew this fact, but it was reinforced today

Thankful for:
*Happy Anniversary to my sister and her husband...Happy 7 Years!!!
*Happy Memorial Day!!!Thankful for all the soldiers and their families who sacrifice so much!!
*The AWESOME steaks Thomas made...First time to eat a steak without some kind of sauce with it!!!It melted in your mouth!
*Preston falling asleep for a nap in my arms while we ate a late lunch/early dinner
*Preston's new Woody Action Figure (aka doll)
*Preston wearing his Buzz hands/gloves to Wal-Mart (thanks Aunt Amanda, he does not like to take them off and if one falls off he throws a tantrum until I put it back on him!! but really thanks he loves them)
