Mother of a Boy

You know you truly and deeply love your toddler son when...he goes from hating the bath last week to loving it and cannot get enough over the last 3 nights, you have to bribe him to get out of the bath, then while he is brushing is teeth (forever tonight), he can hear the frustration in your voice and he looks at you ever so sweetly, smiles at you, says MaMa, grabs the sides of your face with his precious little hands, comes toward you for a big ole kiss, then he BURPS in your face, then giggles and you cannot help but giggle too and give him a kiss on the cheek. Gotta love this little boy!!!

Thankful for:
*A nice trip to Lowes with hubby, son and mother-in-law
*We bought new blinds for the living room...they make the room look 100x better...custom cut plantation faux wood (did not want to splurge for real wood in case one of the dogs or a certain little boy tears one up)
*Thomas's gardenia bush has bloomed...smells wonderful
*Preston likes bath time again...I don't know what the deal was last week
*Found a needed material for Preston's party favors (making magnetic chalkboards for the kiddos)
*Had the BEST laugh this morning...my sister shared a funny story about her son, I probably should not have gotten so much enjoyment out of the story but all I can say is Rocky Balboa watch out, here comes Carson Ray
*my Mom finally got her microwave and new vent hood installed, the pictures look great
