Hump Day

*Thankful for an uneventful Wednesday
*Thankful to have made a couple of needed appointments at the times that were best for me!
*Thankful that although we woke up to NO HEAT this cold morning...it should be an easy and not too expensive of a problem to fix
*Thankful that we should have heat tonight
*Thankful that although Preston woke up in the wee hours saying "Mama, mama, mama"...he went right back to sleep...no problem
*Thankful for leftovers
*Thankful that I am sticking to my guns and bringing my lunch to work everyday. I am boycotting the cafeteria at work. My paycheck likes it!
*Saddened that one of our surgeons last day will be next Friday. Glad that I was able to work with him this morning and we had a very nice day.
*Thankful that today at work was not crazy like the last two have been
*Thankful for a nice afternoon to play outside with Preston and the dogs
*Thankful that Preston's little mishap with a truck and the slide turned out to be nothing. Just stopped my heart for a couple of beats. Preston likes to roll his trucks down the slide then he likes to follow. Well, I did not move one of them in time. Down goes Preston and then face first into a small bulldozer. Two scratches to the face later and he is fine.
*Thankful that Preston found one of my black, red and white polka dot socks and he is now wearing it LOL!!
