If you are familiar with Thomas the Tank and His Friends, you know that Tidmouth Sheds is where Thomas and the other engines go to "rest". Well this morning, I found this (above picture) in Preston's room. He has just recently become very interested in Thomas. I saw some of his trains lined up liked this under his dresser...like they were resting at Tidmouth Sheds at night, waiting to come out and play in the morning. I thought it was adorable to see them all lined up and "protected". The first 3 are really supposed to be bath toys but he plays with them out of the bath and in the bath (Salty is missing but we found him in his car seat this afternoon). He loves these little trains, he carries them when we go somewhere in his Oscar the Gouch gardening bag (go figure, but whatever makes him happy). Don't tell Preston, but I think Santa might be making a Thomas Train Set for him for Christmas...shhh!

*I set out a Superman t-shirt (blue tee with Superman emblem) out for Preston to wear to bed, when I was getting him dressed, I asked him "Who is on your shirt?" His reply (in a loud sing-song tone)"Sugarman!"... so cute!

A little boy after his Aunt's heart! I know the feeling Sister when you "find" something magical like this. You think to yourself, ‘What was his little imagination thinking lining up his trains?’ Soon, if his passion is anything like Carson's, you will be over flowing with Thomas and his friends and they will eventually consume every nook and cranny in your house!!! Seriously, Thomas the Tank has taught Carson so much: adjectives, emotions, feelings, colors, numbers and consequences. He even recites his favorite videos and acts them out will playing on his train table. PaPa may need to be ordered to make another train table...hmmmmm...something to think about for Christmas!
We have already thought about PaPa and his table making skills. But Santa is not 100% sure yet on the train set. Maybe Carson will teach Sweet P some more train names this weekend.
