His next first of the week was last night. I decided to make cupcakes for Easter because the grocery store only had one block of cream cheese that I like to use for my cheesecakes. I made the cupcakes, iced them, then let Preston decorate them with sprinkles for the first time. He liked the sprinkling part, but he really liked to sprinkle a little then stick the top of the sprinkle bottle into the icing and lick it clean. So sneaky!!!
Getting ready to sprinkle...look at that little tell-tell grin
This sprinkling takes lots of concentration...if I stick my tongue out I might be able to do it better.
Enjoying one of his creations!
The last first of the week, was this afternoon. We all colored Easter eggs. I was not too keen on the idea this year, but Thomas wanted to give it a go. So Thomas, decided to set a table up outside in case of accidents. Well, Preston was all jazzed up to play, but it did not hold his attention for too long. I think he just wanted to play in the "juice" (dye colors). He did dip the egg a time or two. Thomas and I ended up coloring the eggs, but it looks like a couple of kids colored them (they looked very amateurish). Oh well, I am sure the Easter Bunny will hide them anyways for Sweet P.

Happy Easter!!!

Thankful for:
*Another beautiful day
*For finding some pretty flowers to plant in a flower bed
*For all of us not make to big of a mess while coloring eggs
*PAAS Q-tip Coloring sticks...these were the neatest little Easter egg coloring sticks. It came in a pack of 5 (for 88 cents at Wal-Mart)...all yo do is snap the marked end, the color goes to the other end of the q-tip, and then you color. The colors were bold, and pretty and it was easy to control what you colored

Oh my goodness! I love the wheel barrel! Carson needs one of those! I also love his little grin before shaking sprinkles on the cupcakes - little cutie patootie!
What a big boy - he's growing up fast...snif. Love you and Happy Easter to you all too!
Major cuteness with the cupcakes - love his grin!!! Yay for dirt! I know it won't be too long 'till Hudson wants to join in all that fun :)
