...Is in a bin? The last couple of days Preston emptied one of the ball bins and started taking it around the house to sit in it. Why? Who knows...only he does. I guess it was cozy. Little Sweet P, you always come up with something new.
*Thankful for the weekend
*Thankful for yummy, homemade chicken and dumplings
*Thankful that my son LOVES fruit (esp bananas)
*Thankful for an inservice from a LifeShare (our locate blood bank) rep at work today...Did you know that if you or one of your dependents or spouse donates blood and someone in your household (meaning spouse or dependent) needs blood or blood products within that same year you can receive a $500 dollar discount off your hospital bill for blood products? I did not know this and I have been a nurse for 10 years. She also told the story of a pregnant mother in Scotland whose baby in utero needed a blood transfusion. The only match in the entire WORLD was a man in Louisiana. The blood bank located this man, who was on vacation, told him of the situation and he went and donated blood. The blood was then shipped to Scotland and the baby received the life saving transfusion even before they were born. Amazing! Also, at this same inservice, learned that there was a young lady (early 30s), with sickle cell anemia that has to receive blood transfusions occasionally, at the hospital I work for. The only donor she can receive blood from is from someone in Utah. It is amazing, the wonders of modern medicine. But also a little unnerving to me to know that you can be tracked like this (by blood).
*Thankful that Thomas did the floors this morning
*Hopeful that Little Boy Carson feels better soon...We Love You Carson
