slacking...or just busy?

Thankful for:
*a beginning of a new month (is February really here? by the looks of all the red and pink and stuffed animals in the stores it is)
*being on call and it being a good call day
*deviated from my menu (due to having a few extra mouths to feed) but Thomas came through with pizza
*got kids to school on time

Thankful for:
*the groundhog saw its shadow
*wow...a crazy day at work
*cooler weather is coming
*fixing Mexican food tonight and even the picky eaters got full tonight!
*Thomas getting all 3 kids off by himself this morning...he is such a good man!

Thankful for:
*Minden St. Jude Auction starts today
*the pretty white weather we are having...not so thrilled about the ICE
*cheddar bacon twice baked potatoes...yummy in the tummy

Thankful for:
*making it to and from work safely
*Thomas keeping all 3 kids today, he only opened for a little while
*Preston finally getting the concept that he needed to wear his big coat
*Thomas's truck having 4 wheel drive
*all our patients made it to the hospital for their surgery safely, as did my coworkers
*it is just the 3 of us again tonight

Thankful for:
*cooking soup for lunch
*the sun is shining
*this crazy weather...on day it is in the 20s the next day it is in the 50s
*getting our name in the pot for a couple of things at the St. Jude auction
*making another 2 week menu
*really using all my cookbooks...I set down with 2 different ones each time a make the menus and try to find at least 4 new recipes for the 2 week period and then add in the ole tried and true recipes
