Thankful for:
*being just back up call and not having to work
*being off today and cleaning house, Preston went to daycare for in case I did have to go into work
*working on my tree skirt, it is coming along
*eating out, Preston loves Mexican food

*Thanksgiving Day
*family
*health

*my job
*a reason to celebrate
*spending time with Thomas's family
*being on call and not having to work
*Thomas's new turkey fryer worked great, and produced a juicy turkey
*eating a piece of pumpkin pie with a layer of cream cheese between the pie filling and the crust...yummy!
turkey goes into the fryer
and comes out golden brown...juicy and yummy...great job Thomas (1st time to fry a turkey)

Thankful for:
*being home safe while others were out shopping
*my sister and mom shopping, they found super deals and made it home safe
*Thomas working half a day so we could leave for my parents' house early
*Preston getting a hair cut, he did so much better than last time (in August...yikes!)
*making it to my parents house safely
*Preston and Carson being so excited to see one another
*homemade soup my mom makes
*a leftover piece of pound cake my MIL made
*no work today

Thankful for:
*Thanksgiving with my mother's family
*I brought meat pies to the gathering, I had a co-worker's mom make them, all I had to do is bake them, they were delish
*seeing my mom with all 6 of her sisters...I love all them so much...I have so many memories of each one of them
*riding the Polar Express with my little family and my sister and her little family
*that I have a large extended family, and I have wonderful memories of each one of them
My mom and her sisters (in age order): Elna, Linda, Shelia, Pat, Mary Jane, Kathy, and my Mom Joy
They are all so beautiful! They have one brother and he is the oldest (20 years separates my mom and her brother.)
Typical for all of them to be together and laughing. It sounds like a hen house when they all get together! But we would not have it any other way!

Thankful for:
*making a safe trip back home, with lots of traffic
*a new table cloth on the table
*editing a couple of pictures today
*unpacking everything and getting clothes washed
*cooking dinner
*transferring addresses from my old laptop to an address book (the kind you hand write in)
*Preston had a good time with his cousin Carson, he had a fit when we got home and wanted to play with Carson (who was at his home), I had to call Carson and his mom so they could talk to one another
