...I think maybe not. Imagine it is 1:30pm. Lunch has been served and cleaned. Your husband is sitting on the couch watching whatever, and you are trying to catch up on your computer research (hahaha). Your 2 year old is throwing a fit, screaming for some COKE or TEA! That's right folks, my kid gets coke and tea sometimes. Is it the best thing for him? No. Does it make life just a little easier to offer a splash of it every now and again? YES. Well anyways, Preston is throwing a tantrum, I am sure the neighbors could hear. Both Thomas and I ignore it and offer a bottle of water to quench his thirst. He flat out refuses it, "NO WATER!!!I COKE!!I TEA!!!" For at least 15 minutes this goes on. I was on the computer and I notice that it is now quite. I think he just gave up and went to his room to pout and play. Thomas notices it is quite and hollers at me from the living room, "What are yall doing?" My reply, "I am on the computer. I thought Preston was in his room." Again silence. Thomas, "Come here you gotta see this." I leave the computer and walk toward the living room. What do I see? My little boy asleep on the floor behind the recliner. Legs tucked up underneath him, hiney in the air and his Walkee (his blankie) in his hands. It was such and sweet and sad sight all at the same time. Sweet because he was asleep and looked like a little angel and sad because he was asleep, on the floor, tear still on his face, and so tired from his fit that he just fell asleep where he was at the moment. I was able to pick him up and put him in bed. He took a 2 hour nap. Mother of the Year? No not the this year, but hey there is always next year!
