Before and After

It has been a crazy week around here. Our poor dogs and Preston (and Thomas and I) have been out of our "routinue" since last Friday. Thomas and I decided it was time to do something about the floors in our house. There was only so much that could be covered up with rugs. And with Sweet P very mobile nowadays we needed to do something and fast. So we hired a contractor to install new floors and baseboard throughout most of the house. We kept the carpet in Preston's play area. We were going to refinish the wood floors but decided to put floating floor down instead and we had ceramic tile put down in the bathroom. We had to stay with Thomas's mom this week, due to our house being a complete disaster (and kind of still is). Sweet P had a good time with his Grandma and it was good for her, too. Here are a couple of before and after shots. We are still not through. We have to paint the baseboard and repaint the bathroom. But baby steps at a time.

AFTER...Floating floor that is clean, new and matches through out the house
